Nice mom to let you do that. A true cat lover.
Oh dear...don't think my dad would be too happy if I did this...I mainly confine my scratching activities to my scratchy mouse, the wicker laundry basket and (sometimes) the living room carpet.
I don't really mind. It adds to the rustic feel of the old kitchen table. However I do turn it round occasionally to spread the wear and tear!

We gets to scratch on alla carpet in the house. The beans dining table is hard and metally so we can't scratches it.
