Disappointing Cricket

Today is the start of the 2nd Test Match between England and India, and I was looking forward to watching a substantial chunk of cricket. However because of the time difference, their morning's play occurs between 4am and 8am English time, and when I tuned in their afternoon's play was interupted several times due to poor light or rain.

So it was very disappointing. However the closing score was163-4 and Kevin Petersen (pictured) had a promising start to his innings.

Still on a cricket theme, congratulations to the stand-in Captain, Andrew (Freddy) Flintoff, or more correctly to his wife, on the birth of a son, with the slightly strange name of Corey.

Hopefully the weather in India will be better tomorrow and the weekend.
