What happened to your tail? Was you borned without one???
Velvet wandered in about 2 months ago with a broken tail dragging on the ground. No other injuries so a bit of a mystery. The vet had to amputate the useless tail, but as you see he's made a quick and handsome recovery.
Amazingly he still balances along fences and climbs trees.

Velvet reminds me of the black cat Truffaut who preceded me as master of this house. I'm glad Velvet is copying with the loss of his tail.

What a gorgeous coat he's got. He's a lot like our Cassius, who still has a tail but has had more than one narrow escape through closing doors.
